What is Photo Crystal?
Photo Crystals, are genuine crystal pieces in various shapes and sizes that have a color photographic transparency fused to the back side of the crystal using a new advanced UV curing technology.

How long does it take once I place my order?
We can have it ready for shipping in 1 to 2 days from the time we receive your image and get your approval to proceed. We ship USPS Priority Mail so it usually takes 2 to 3 days to reach most places in the continental United States.

How do I get my pictures to you?
You may email your digital pictures to photo@thebestpersonalgift.com or sales@thebestpersonalgift.com (if there is a problem or if one mail box is full, try the other). If you use a photo sharing service on the web, you may also send us the URL (web page address) of that photo and we will pull it from there. Make sure the resolution (see below) is sufficient for the crystal size.

We do on our sister website: www.store.thebestpersonalgift.com.  You are free to link to our Photo Crystal Section by clicking Home. Not all of our crystal pieces are currently up on the site yet. If you don't see a particular design in stock, please call or email us and we will see if its in stock or can get it for you quickly. 

What type of pictures give the best results?
Usually pictures with rich backgrounds and simple shapes. White backgrounds will show up as clear once applied to the crystal. The final transparency is much like a color slide. Foregrounds (people, pets, etc.) should be well defined and colorful.  If you have trouble deciding between two or more pictures, send all of them and ask us which will work the best.

What size picture or resolution should I use?
You want the orientation of the picture to be similar to the crystal you are selecting (Portrait or Landscape).  Image resolution should also be high. For example, 200 to 300 dpi will produce the best results.  If your resolution is not that high, we can often work some digital magic, so don't let that prevent you from using a favorite picture.

Can I add a logo or other clip art?
Yes!  Keep in mind that the picture should have an area available to place any additional graphic elements. Remember also that the background of a logo may interfere with the picture. Advanced photo editing techniques are available for an additional charge. Please inform us of such requests when placing the order.

Can I have Text added to the picture?
Yes! AT NO EXTRA CHARGE! Keep in mind placement and the amount of text to be added relative to the picture. You may also specify Font, Size, Color and other text attributes when placing your order. A jpg copy will be emailed to you for final approval before production. It is best to email the exact text formatted the way you like in a Word document.

Can I have just text or a logo (no picture)?
Yes. Just provide us with the art work or the information.

What if my picture has some wrinkles, fading, stains or specks on it?
We are happy to perform simple restoration and correction to digital and scanned images at no cost. We will email you back a jpeg file of the image for your approval before we proceed to production.  Restoration or repairs requiring significant time, or advanced photo editing techniques, are available for an additional charge. Please inform us of such requests when placing the order and we will provide a free estimate of additional cost if any.

How about Color to Black/White or other special effects?
Explain what you would like, and we'll do our best to include it at no charge. We will email you back a jpeg file of the image for your approval before we proceed to production.

How much does it cost to ship?
We ship USPS Priority Mail out of San Bernardino County area. Crystal is heavy, but fortunately Priority Mail has Flat Rate boxes. One crystal sculpture of any size should never exceed our minimum of $6.50. Several crystals can fit in the larger Flat Rate box and should not exceed $8.95.

Are there discounts available for large orders?
We will consider a discount for large orders placed at the same time.  We also have a wholesale program for Professional Photographers, Retailers, and qualified Re-sellers. Please contact us to see if you qualify.

Can I email my Logo for the Vinyl Stickers?
Absolutely. We can do any logo or Image on Vinyl Stickers.

If I have my own Apparel can you still customize it?                             Yes. If you have a special T-shirt, Baseball Cap, Team Jersey, Quilt, or any other fabric, we can customize it for you, just contact us if you have any questions and we will gladly make sure we meet your expectations.
